Mission
The RTD WG’s purpose is to understand the particular challenges facing the automotive supply industry in achieving integration of future innovative components, systems and functionalities, in order to improve the recognition and reward for the automotive suppliers’ contribution to the vehicle manufacturers’ products. It also undertakes the full range of preparatory work for collaborative RTD projects at the European level that support this objective.
Tasks &s objectives
- The RTD WG develops and maintains a Technology Strategy;
- Assists and supports CLEPA partners in RTD project development on European level;
- Is the single CLEPA interface to the EU and ACEA/EUCAR in RTD matters;
- Operates an “Information and Communication” panel on RTD matters;
- Co-ordinates the “Network of the national Equipment Suppliers’ Associations.
