SME

SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES

Mission

The SME WG’s purpose is to give a real voice to automotive SMEs and their specific needs through lobbying activities and information tools. It elaborates common positions on EU legislation in strategic areas, works on EU projects and proposes common actions and campaigns.

Tasks &s objectives
  1. The SME WG exerts influence on the decision-making process of the EU institutions for automotive specific topics and general matters in co-operation with other European Associations and Group of interest;
  2. strengthens the relationship between SMEs and OEMs & Corporate Members on issues concerning the supply chain;
  3. communicates directly and through National Associations on CLEPA WGs’ activities and EU policies; collects information and statistics on automotive SMEs and organises seminars;
  4. fosters participation in European projects and activities establishes and promotes an SMEs network.
